Last updated: 2 October 2026

At Dacan Tecnología, your satisfaction is important to us. This Refund and Returns Policy explains your rights to withdraw from a purchase, the legal warranty that applies to the products sold on dacantecnologia.com (the “Site”), and how to request a return, exchange or refund. This policy is designed to comply with Colombian Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Protection Statute) and its regulatory decrees.

1. Right of Withdrawal (Derecho de Retracto)

Because purchases made on this Site are distance sales, as a consumer you have the right to withdraw from your purchase, without needing to state a reason, within five (5) business days counted from the date you receive the product (or, for services, from the date the contract is entered into), in accordance with Article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011.

To exercise this right:

The product must be unused, unwashed and in the same condition in which you received it.

The product must be returned in its original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, free gifts and tags included.

You must notify us of your decision to withdraw within the 5-business-day term described above, using the contact details in Section 6.

The following are generally excluded from the right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011: goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized; goods that, by their nature, cannot be returned or are at risk of deteriorating or expiring rapidly; and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery.

Once we receive and verify the returned product, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay.

2. Legal Warranty (Garantía Legal)

All products sold on this Site carry the legal warranty established in Articles 7 to 21 of Law 1480 of 2011, which guarantees the suitability, quality and safety of the product for the use for which it is intended.

If a product has a manufacturing defect or does not match what was offered, you may file a warranty claim within the applicable legal or manufacturer warranty period, and request, as applicable: repair free of charge, replacement of the product, or reimbursement of the amount paid, together with compensation for proven damages where applicable.

To file a warranty claim you must present proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) and describe the defect found.

3. How to Request a Return, Withdrawal or Warranty Claim

To start a return, withdrawal or warranty claim, please contact us at admin@dacantecnologia.com or +57 313 547 1107 (WhatsApp), indicating:

Your order number.

The product(s) involved.

The reason for the return (withdrawal or warranty claim) and, if applicable, a description of the defect.

Our team will confirm receipt of your request and provide instructions on how and where to send the product back, if applicable.

4. Return Shipping Costs

When you exercise your right of withdrawal, the cost of returning the product is generally covered by the customer, unless otherwise indicated at the time of purchase. When the return is due to a warranty claim (a defective, damaged or incorrect product), Dacan Tecnología will cover the shipping costs associated with the return and replacement.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase, within a reasonable term after approval. Depending on your card issuer or payment provider, it may take additional business days for the refund to be reflected in your account.

6. Non-Returnable Items

In addition to the exclusions described in Section 1, items such as gift cards, downloadable software or digital products, and products that have been used, altered or damaged by the customer after delivery, are not eligible for return under the right of withdrawal, without prejudice to any applicable legal warranty rights.

7. Contact

If you have any questions about this Refund and Returns Policy, please contact us at admin@dacantecnologia.com or +57 313 547 1107 (WhatsApp). You may also file complaints regarding your consumer rights with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), Colombia’s consumer protection authority.
",
